Minor Surgery

The doctors at the surgery carry out minor surgical procedures. Dr. Pat Downey has a particular interest in minor surgical procedures.

Procedures performed include the removal of sebaceous cysts and certain other skin lesions, insertion and removal of the Mirena Coil and Implanon contraceptives. You should make a routine appointment to discuss these procedures and you will then be given an appointment for the minor surgery.

The removal of cysts and other skin lesions is usually covered by private health insurance. Please bring your details with you.
