Berna qualified with a Bsc in Nursing Studies in 2002. She worked for a number of years in Cork University Hospital gaining experience in a number of different fields, most notably in Cardiothoracics, Plastic / Trauma Surgery and Urology.

She began Practice Nursing in 2009 and has worked extensively as a practice nurse in Australia and the UK adding to her experience. Berna joined our practice in February 2017.

She has a H.dip in Occupational Health, Safety and Hygiene from NUIG, Certificate in Sexual Health Promotion, Certificate in Family Planning and Registered Cervical Check, Phlebotomy, Ear Irrigation and Childhood Immunisations.
