Minor Surgery

The doctors at the surgery carry out minor surgical procedures. Dr. Pat Downey has a particular interest in minor surgical procedures.

Procedures performed include the removal of sebaceous cysts and certain other skin lesions, insertion & removal of the Mirena Coil, and insertion and removal of Implanon. You should make a routine appointment to discuss these procedures and you will then be given an appointment for the minor surgery.

The removal of cyst /s and other skin lesions is usually covered by private health insurance. Please bring your details with you.
